To assemble, first tighten the canopy lid plug, then push up on its inner shaft and open it, extend the 2 adjustable canopy tubes with your hand or tool until you hear 2 clicks, and finally press the click latch on the tube and insert it into the C-shaped handle until it clicks.
Hold the handle with one hand and hold the canopy plug with the other and push forward to complete the opening. If you don't need to use an umbrella, close it in the opposite direction depending on how it is open.
